My wrap isn't as sticky, can I restore it?
Absolutely!
When you find your wraps are losing their stickiness, follow these simple steps to refresh them:
- Place in an oven at 100°C for 2 minutes. *
- Carefully take the wrap out of the oven.
- Once cooled, they will be ready to use again.
Be careful when taking them out the oven as they will be hot!
* You'll see the wrap appears damp, this is the beeswax remelting into the fabric.
Can the wraps be recycled?
Our beeswax wraps are 100% compostable!
They are made of 100% natural products and fibres, they will biodegrade in your compost bin.
Top tip!
You can also use your old beeswax wraps as fire lighters!
